The MARMOR project was born during a residence in Carrara, IT, where marble is literally everywhere. In the mountains, in museums, on the streets, among the pebbles of the beach; even to repair a hole in the side of an old house, here they use a marble slab.
MARMOR tries to document the entire “marble route”, from quarries and sawmills to art and design workshops, from natural element to object, investigating the relationship of constant contamination between man and nature, in search of a common pattern of creation.
